Hey, Valkyrie Alexi here for your WWW Wednesday! It’s been a dark and stormy start to 2022 here in the Pacific Northwest and a great time to get cozy and read a good book. Here’s my list to start out the New Year!
What are you currently reading?
Currently reading Dune by Frank Herbert and Foundation by Issac Asimov. Both novels have been on my list for a while but I never got around to reading them. They are each the first book of their own series. Herbert and Asimov are both masters of world building and storytelling in the science fiction with their own unique spin.
What did you read recently?
The Man in the High Castle by Philip K Dick is both science fiction and alternate history. It is an interesting blend of two genres and it gives an interesting perspective into what would happen if the Allied powers lost. Philip K Dick is also the author of my favorite novel, Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? which I did a review of in 2021 for all you classic philosophical scifi lovers out there!
What will you read next?
As some of you know, Asimov is one of my favorite authors so I decided to look beyond his famous series into his other novels and found End of Eternity. I don’t know much about this book so I’m excited to dig in.
