Welcome back, Valkyries! It’s another Tuesday in this Earthly grind we call life, but I hope you found something worthy to ease the passage of time. To my surprise, this week’s TTT topic is a freebie, which means I get to talk about whatever I want.
Since I’ve been diving so deeply into Chinese and Korean TV shows, that’s kind of where my heart is right now. So, I’ve decided to talk about Asian Dramas.
This list is obviously not comprehensive. These are the shows that have embedded themselves under my skin, leaving me thoughtful, emotional, and eager to rewatch. And while there are so many others I could list here, I’m only touching on the top six I can’t stop mulling over.
Top Ten Tuesday was originally created in June 2010 by The Broke and the Bookish. In January 2018, it was transferred to That Artsy Reader Girl. At its heart, TTT was born out of a desire to bring readers together and a shared love of lists. Please check out her blog for more TTT topics!

From left to right (top to bottom): My Liberation Notes, Falling Into Your Smile, Who Rules the World, Tomorrow, Start-Up, and Forecasting Love and Weather.
Most of these are available on Netflix, but if you don’t have that—I mean, I certainly don’t and steal my mom’s login whenever something catches my eye—there is also Viki Rakuten.

If you’re curious about our thoughts on books, music, dramas, and more, we chat about it all in our reviews.
Do you watch Asian dramas? If so, what are your favorites? Feed me recommendations in the comments!
If you haven’t seen them already I would highly recommend the Chinese dramas “The Long Balled” and “Love like the Galaxy”. Both are masterpieces and can be found on YouTube!
Hey Jamie! So….I started “Love Like the Galaxy” last night and I AM SO HOOKED. Thank you for this wonderful rec 😀
[…] visiting Bookish Valhalla for this week’s Top Ten Tuesday. You can find our previous TTT post HERE. What bookish world or setting would you love to visit? Let me know in the comments […]
Ahah, we are the opposite here 😂 I’m the one paying for netflix, but my parents are using it the most- that being said.. im more youtube than netflix, wierdly..
I should go check those to see if they’re available in french; mother do love them!
Kristina recently posted…Top Ten Tuesday ~ Seasonal TBR books I haven’t picked up yet..
I watch a ton of YouTube, too 😀 Are you watching anything good these days? Fingers crossed at least one of the dramas are in French!
Love when there’s a well-timed freebie, haha! I haven’t watched many Asian dramas but I think that is largely because I don’t watch a lot of dramas in general. Asian horror though? Yes.
I am an Asian drama addict 😀 I just enjoy them so much, no matter the genre. Have you seen Sweet Home, Train to Busan, or All of Us Are Dead?
